A Classic - Blind Skateboards Video Days

Welcome to this months skate video of choice. This was always one of my favorite flicks of all time.

Chat GPT wrote this in a Bill Maher Voice. HAHAHA

You know, folks, let's talk about Video Days, that skateboarding masterpiece brought to us by Blind Skateboards back in the year 1991. Now, this little gem right here, it's not just any skate video; oh no, it's considered one of the most influential ones out there. And you can bet your bottom dollar that director Spike Jonze's touch played a major role in making it the definitive template for countless skate videos to come.

You've got some serious skate legends in this flick too, I'm telling you. We're talking about the likes of Mark Gonzales, Rudy Johnson, Jason Lee, Guy Mariano, and Jordan Richter. These guys, they were tearing it up on those boards, doing things that blew our minds back then.

But you know what, there's a little twist to this story. You see, the legendary skateboarder Danny Way, he was briefly part of the Blind Skateboards crew from '90 to '91. He even filmed some sick footage for Video Days. But guess what? He said, "Nah, I'm outta here," and went back to his original team, H-Street Skateboards. So, unfortunately, Danny's footage got left on the cutting room floor, and we only catch a quick glimpse of him during Mark Gonzales' part.

But hey, that doesn't take away from the fact that Video Days became a true classic, and Spike Jonze's touch made it stand the test of time. So, if you're a skateboarding enthusiast and haven't checked it out yet, do yourself a favor and watch Video Days. It's a wild ride of shredding, stunts, and pure skateboarding glory!
